Rediscover
your Spark
Your spark is that thing inside of you that helps you feel vibrant and alive
It lets you feel like yourself.
It drives you to connect with people,
to create purpose and fulfillment,
joy and happiness.
It’s worth finding.
You had your Spark,
but then life happened.
Too many people are walking around deeply exhausted, blocked and frozen, disconnected from what used to make them feel alive.
The heartbreaks of life, big and small, add up and then slowly or suddenly you don’t feel like yourself anymore.
We can help. Let’s get going.
Nothing can change what
happened in your life. Or what didn’t
happen. But a lot of things can
help.
A lot. Really.
There are many paths to
healing and your path is
uniquely yours. Good therapy
can help you find it.
We all get hurt. You really can feel good again.
You can feel more joy, peace, and comfort in your life. And you can have deeper, more fulfilling relationships where you can love and feel loved. Therapy can help you figure out how.
Where should we begin?
Your relationship with yourself.
Maybe we'll start there.
Therapy can help you improve the quality of your life. There are many starting points and just as many motivations for being in therapy. You may know precisely what in your life needs attention or you may not. It’s fine either way. Sometimes people want help with something specific, something they’re doing or not doing that’s causing problems for them or the people who love them. Some want a guide as they walk through something painful.
Whatever you’re dealing with, finding a therapist who is a great fit can make a world of difference. It can help you find your spark.
Your therapy will be custom-made. We treat people, not conditions.

FAQ’S
- What if I can’t afford your fees?
We recognize that therapy is expensive and that the cost is a barrier for many people. We are happy to be able to offer reduced fee arrangements or payment plans for a good percentage of our clients. We can discuss those possibilities during our initial consultation, which is offered at no charge. If we aren’t able to accommodate your financial needs, we can make recommendations of other therapists who might be available.
- Do you take insurance?
No, we don’t. We understand that many people want to use insurance benefits for therapy, but at this time, we aren’t able to offer that.
- Are you taking new clients?
It’s worth an ask! If we aren’t taking new clients or for some reason we aren’t the right fit, we’d love to offer suggestions about who else you might want to contact. Atlanta is fortunate to have a lot of good therapists and we always love helping people land on the right sofa, virtually or in real life.
- When are you available?
Our main hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend availability provided as needed. Ask for what you need and we’ll see if we can make it happen. SPARK is a practice that aims to be available to our clients when we’re needed. To that end, we avoid over-scheduling our weeks so we can keep space for emergencies or to add new clients in quickly. We know that by the time people reach out for help from a therapist, they’re usually interested in starting as soon as possible, so we keep that in mind when we’re setting our schedules
- Can you work with clients who live outside of Georgia?
If you need help and you think we might be a good fit, email us and let’s talk. We might be able to help, at least by directing you to colleagues who would be able to work with you.
- Are you available for virtual and in-person sessions?
Yes, both options are available. Our office is in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta on a nice, mostly residential street just off the Beltline between Piedmont Park and Ponce City Market. You may already know what works for you or we might play that by ear and sort it out as we go.
- What are your fees?
Our hourly rate is $250.
- Do you take insurance?
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it may be possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates for psychotherapy services.
To better understand your benefits, we recommend asking your insurance provider the following questions:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit the number of sessions I can have per year? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
Some problems can’t wait.
And some have waited long enough.
If you think therapy might be a good idea, reach out and let’s talk about it.
